Our club sits on community lawns, where about sixty members meet through the week to play croquet — sometimes seriously, sometimes for the cup of tea between games. We've been here for decades. The lawns are kept up. The clubhouse holds up. The conversation is good.

Open Day, first Saturday of each month at 1pm. Free; no booking. We'll teach you what hoops the balls go through and how to hit the ball without it leaving the lawn. Wear flat shoes.
